 Synaesthetic Theatre happily brought
Master Teacher Wendell Beavers back to NYC for two weekend intensive workshops, CREATING A THEATER OF SENSATION,
PERCEPTION AND IMAGE: somatic sources & experimental aesthetics for the performer. These separate workshops
focused on joining the compositional Viewpoints elements of space and time to deeply kinesthetic work with breath, sound,
emotional impulse and movement. Participants explored Image as container, source and product. Drawing on Developmental movement
and experiential anatomy work based in Body Mind Centering (tm), the workshops brought together Wendell's deeply organic and
kinesthetic movement work and his physically exploratory approach to theatrical performance.
